UOC Rural Network

A digital training programme promoted by Edul@b and the UOC Rural Network, aimed at people living in rural towns or areas with up to 5,000 inhabitants, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan

Es planteja com una eina dinàmica de visualització del coneixement que es produeix a la UOC vinculat als reptes i les necessitats del món rural. Alhora ha d’esdevenir una eina per a la creació de xarxa facilitant la transversalitat de la recerca i la transferència, així com la influència en la perspectiva rural de la docència.

RURALINK: Connecting Coworking and Rural Environments is a project that aims to analyze and understand the connection between rural coworking spaces and their local contexts in Catalonia. This initiative arises from the need to better understand the bidirectional impact between these spaces, their users, and the rural communities in which they are embedded. Through applied research and collaboration with the Cowocat_Rural network (which includes more than 40 coworking spaces in Catalonia’s rural areas), the project seeks to provide valuable insights to foster territorial revitalization and sustainable development in these regions.

L’estudi es planteja com a objectiu analitzar l’impacte que la nostra universitat té i pot tenir en el futur del món rural. Volem analitzar fins a quin punt i de quina manera la formació i la recerca que fem des de la UOC dóna resposta als reptes de les ruralitats contemporànies i contribueix a la reducció de la bretxa territorial i de les desigualtats socioeconòmiques i ambientals que l’acompanyen.

Aquest estudi es marca l’objectiu de comprendre i caracteritzar el mercat de l’habitatge en els espais rurals d’Espanya, analitzar les seves diferències territorials i socials, així com la seva connexió amb processos socioeconòmics, polítics i demogràfics que han estat transformant aquests territoris. Posem especial atenció en la influència del desenvolupament turístic en la configuració actual del mercat de l’habitatge en l’àmbit rural. Per a aconseguir aquest objectiu i captar la diversitat d’experiències del món rural utilitzem una mirada de comparativa territorial i anàlisi longitudinal així com enfocaments econòmics, socials i culturals/antropològics.

This project, promoted within the framework of the UOC Rural Network, aims to conduct an exploratory study on female entrepreneurship in rural environments, analyzing the social, cultural, and economic factors that influence their financial well-being and strategic decision-making. Through interviews and discussion groups, the goal is to delve deeper into the barriers and training opportunities in finance and digitalization to improve the available tools for these entrepreneurs and promote their autonomy and financial well-being.
