Soledad Morales Pérez holds a PhD in Human Geography from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her thesis was on the agri-food industry, gender and rural development.

She is a member of the UOC Faculty of Economics and Business, and academic director of the Master’s Degree in Sustainable Tourism and ICT.

Member of the Coordinating Group of the Rural Pact in the European Commission, representative of the UOC in the RedIntur Network and member of the NOUTUR Research group.
